Please note that there is some overlap between classical and jazz for Letters from the Aftermath and LETTING GO. In most instances, these works are not genre-specific and can be played by ensembles from either background. I have listed them on these pages based on the circumstances of their commissioning and their premieres, but to find the complete lists, visit each of the pages listed above or start from the Projects catchall.
LETTING GO (begin again)—seven or more musicians and optional electronics.
Commissioned by the Nash Composers Coalition. Will premiere in December 2019.
2015 and earlier

N.B.: Seven for Brendan can be adapted for trumpet/soprano and trumpet/alto as well, though it sits best on tenor. If you’d like one of these adaptations, please specify in your order.
An asterisk (*) denotes that piece is part of Letters from the Aftermath, a larger body of work I am constructing that discusses the realities and aftereffects of sexual assault and rape culture. For more information, click here.
